My name is Florian Maisch and I’m currently working as a manager in the audit & advisory department of Baker Tilly Germany – Financial Services. As my LinkedIn profile says, I am an entrepreneurial auditor who always tries to work pragmatically with my clients. As an auditor, I face the challenges of the increasingly complex business environment in the financial industry. I have been able to build my expertise in banking and asset management, where there is a constant need for new, simple, and straightforward solutions. The DataSnipper tool perfectly fits my mindset and audit approach – lean, efficient, and keeping it as simple as possible.
Especially in times of COVID-19, it was a big challenge to keep the team busy remotely and to give younger colleagues appropriate tasks in order to neither overwhelm nor underchallenge them.
While managing the team internally, it was increasingly a challenge to have the necessary free capacity to respond to the client's wishes and needs in order to ensure a high-quality of the audit.
By using DataSnipper, the work became more comfortable for young newcomers, but also for experienced employees, allowing them to dedicate the necessary time to the customers.
I encountered the DataSnipper tool while auditing the figures of a bank. In the usual busy-season stress, I quickly realized that DataSnipper is a tool that can relieve both my work and the work of many of my colleagues. Because of this, I contacted every colleague I knew to make their workday more time-efficient as well.
From interns to partners, I was able to inspire friends and colleagues and initiate a noticeable change and increase in efficiency for many. For a week, I reached out daily to colleagues and told them about DataSnipper. This cost me a lot of time during the most stressful period of the year, yet thanks to Data Snipper I got more tasks done than ever before.
